Mark Radaskiewicz, the founder of MaintTest™, is currently focused on growing the MaintTest™ organization into the leading testing tool for
skilled positions worldwide. Mark's career
in maintenance started when he was 19 years old. He joined the U.S. Navy in the
nuclear power program and spent 6 years aboard ballistic missile submarines
maintaining and operating all equipment associated with the generation and
distribution of power aboard a nuclear submarine. After leaving the Navy, Mark
started work with a major automotive supplier as a multi-craft maintenance
technician. Mark attended various additional training schools honing his skills
to become a lead technician. He then transferred with the automotive supplier
to be a maintenance supervisor for a new, 1.7 million square foot,
state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Mark held roles as equipment startup
supervisor, education and training manager, and calibration shop manager. Mark
continued his education and earned a Bachelor's degree while working as a
maintenance supervisor. He then moved up to become an electrical and controls
engineer. Mark worked as an electrical and controls engineer for 5 years before
moving on to be a maintenance manager with a global manufacturer of
products for the power industry. He managed a large team of industrial
Multi-Craft maintenance technicians at a facility located in the southeast. Mark earned earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Moore School of Business. He
then moved on to being the enterprise asset manager for the world’s largest
solar PV manufacturer in the operations and maintenance group. Mark has over 26
years of experience in the field of Multi-Craft maintenance.
Throughout his career, Mark was responsible for building his
teams through the hiring of skilled technicians. This was the beginning of MaintTest™. Mark recognized that there was a gap in the market
for tests that adequately assessed the skills he needed on his team to be
successful. Mark’s solution – write his own tests based on his wide industry
knowledge to get the right people for the job. And that is how MaintTest™ began.
